The Cleveland Cavaliers had yet another debacle of a game against a short-manned Atlanta Hawks squad, this time giving up a 26-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, ultimately losing 126-125 in overtime.

A 45-point night by Kyrie Irving, a 32-16-10 triple-double line by LeBron James, and an 11-and-15 double-double by Kevin Love were not enough to prevent the biggest choke job of the NBA season, getting outscored 44-18 in the fourth quarter after leading through the first three.

The loss marked the biggest lead squandered after three quarters in 15 years, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

James fouled out with 1:52 to go in the overtime period after a questionable push-on-the-back call, just one possession after getting a favorable phantom foul call on a drive to the basket.

The Hawks rebounded from five straight misses to start the OT to making big shots from Paul Millsap and stretch-five Mike Muscala, also totaling 5-of-6 from the line when it counted the most.

James made a few key mistakes down the stretch, costing his team the win, first a five-second inbounding violation, then a silly blocking foul on Tim Hardaway Jr. that sent him to the line for two, then a foul on a three-point-shooting Millsap, who netted all three free-throws to cut the deficit to two with eight seconds left in the game.

Irving capped off the mistake galore, turning the ball over in the last four seconds to Kent Bazemore, as Millsap took a last-second baseline jumper to beat the buzzer and take the game to overtime.

Needless to say, the self-proclaimed comeback heroes from a 3-1 deficit in the 2016 NBA Finals were ruthlessly roasted by the internet.
