L.A. Clippers point guard Chris Paul was back on the floor on Tuesday night's 92-89 preseason win against the Sacramento Kings.

This comes at the heels of the All-Star sitting out a practice with concerns of a left thumb sprain, which ended up being purely precautionary, as the injury was deemed minor.

Paul hurt his thumb during practice on Saturday. He was held out of the team's workout the following day and also sat during Monday's game against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. Coach Doc Rivers told media that the sprain would not threaten his availability for the Oct. 27 season opener at Portland.

Paul looked sharp during his 26 minutes on the floor, tallying eight points and eight assists to go with four rebounds and three steals.
