Change is sometimes good but we don't see it much in this type of case.

Jerry West made some headlines yesterday mentioning that he wishes no one knew that he was the logo for the NBA. The logo is very iconic and West's legacy is tied to his representation in the logo somewhat.

If the NBA ever does consider changing its logo, Blazers point guard Damian Lillard has an idea.

Can't go wrong there. No one is more iconic in basketball and sports than Michael Jordan. The logo of his own brand is already one of the most recognizable across the globe and it wouldn't be hard to come up with another to replace West for the NBA.

There may be some conflict here simply because of Jordan's own logo for his brand, and there's nothing to say the NBA is actually entertaining doing this yet. But if a change is ever in the works, designing around Jordan makes as much sense as anything.
