Los Angeles Lakers‘ point guard D'Angelo Russell was present at the ComplexCon in Long Beach, California and joined the thousands of people enjoying the food and pop culture festival.

One of the scheduled events on day one was the live taping of Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk eating spicy wings, which the 20-year-old Ohio State product decided to crash and make a surprise appearance in. After greeting “The Birdman” and host Sean Evans, Russell planned to leave the set right after. But Hawk had other plans.

With help from Evans and the crowd on hand, the 48-year-old pioneer of Vertical Skateboarding was successful in convincing Russell to grab a bite from one of the spicy wings. He did not hesitate in trying it but little did he know that it was smothered with Blair's Mega Death Sauce with Liquid Rage, widely considered as one of the spiciest in the world.

DLo immediately regretted his decision and asked for something to drink to cool his tongue.

He may have “ice in his veins” but Russell surely is not immune to spicy wings. He will probably think twice next time if he'll crash a live taping especially if it's about food.
