Lakers star D’Angelo Russell had a rather embarrassing night out this past weekend after he was denied entrance to a popular Hollywood club.

Russell headed out with several of his NBA peers and attempted to hit up a Warwick nightclub on Saturday. But unfortunately, the young star wasn’t even allowed in the door. Since Russell is only 20 — and the club’s policy is 21-and-up — the bouncer was forced to turn away the Lakers star.

Last season, Russell averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, but that didn’t mean much to the owners of that club.

Still, there’s only a few months between now and Russell’s 21st birthday in February, so it’s a short wait until he can make a more graceful return to the Hollywood club scene.
