Wednesday night's games did not have a shortage of buzzer beaters in the first half.

DeMarcus Cousins knocked down a three pointer just before the halftime buzzer sounded during their game against the Dallas Mavericks inside Smoothie King Center.

Meanwhile, Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan was not to be outdone, as he dropped one jumper each in the first and second quarter of their matchup versus the Charlotte Hornets.

DeRozan finished the contest with 28 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. However, it wasn't enough as the Raptors saw their six-game winning streak come to an end, 110-106. They are now fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 45-30 record.

The Pelicans on the other hand kept their playoff hopes alive as they came out with the victory on the night, 121-118. Cousins recorded 29 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and a block. Although they are still four games out of the eighth seed, they still have a chance of making it to the postseason, if they'll win their remaining games, which will put a lot of pressure on the Portland Trail Blazers.
