Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was furious after Saturday night’s 112-98 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Cousins spoke with ABC10’s Sean Cunningham during the post game interview saying he’s done with accepting reasons why they aren’t winning.

“I'm sick of these f—ing excuses.”

Maybe some cold hard truth will light a fire under his team and change things.

The Kings are 22nd in league defensive efficiency and are struggling to keep their opponents from getting what they want on offense. If he truly wants to change things on the defensive end, Cousins must set the tone early.

There is already a long list of issues plaguing the Kings organization, and a frustrated star player makes matters much worse.

The Kings are slipping lower in the standings, but they will get a chance to start changing things Tuesday night when they face off against the Denver Nuggets.

That game will determine who has the better record between the two since they are tied at 14-19.
