The Golden State Warriors will be chasing history this season. Just not all of it.

Draymond Green says he doesn't want the Warriors to go out and try to win 74 or 75 games to break their own regular-season win record set last season. His reason?

“To be quite frank with you, I don't even want to win 74 games, or 75 games,” Green told reporters, via USA Today's Sam Amick. “It's brutal.”

Green and the Warriors know how much it took to win 73. Maybe so much that it took away from what they were able to accomplish in the postseason. It's not an excuse, but the Warriors are focused on rings, not records this season.

The addition of Kevin Durant should only help the regular season to be that much easier. Less pressure will be on guys like Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as Durant is more than capable of shouldering a huge load.

KD says not much will change for him in Golden State.

Via Yahoo! Sports:

“I’m going to be who I am, and approach the game like I’ve always done it. Nothing’s changed on my end, except for my jersey.”

There's been some speculation that in acquiring Durant, the Warriors now have some more weaknesses than they have in the past when it comes to depth.

Andre Iguodala isn't worried about that at all.

“There were some holes and some weaknesses that we had,” Andre Iguodala said, “and we got a monster that filled them all. We got a monster on our team right now.”
