If anyone saw potential from the Denver Nuggets losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2013, it was Andre Iguodala.

He had seen enough to know what team he would be visiting during his impending free agency. There was uncertainty in Denver, and he got his chance to meet with the Warriors later that summer.

After George Karl had referred to him as a mole, there was no chance he would return to the same situation.

Soon after the Warriors started their presentation, Iguodala had chosen to sign. Draymond Green believes the playoff battle was the reason Iguodala chose the Warriors.

We stole one of their players from that team. I think that (series) was definitely one of the turning points in where this team is at now.

At the time, the Warriors were underdogs but surprised many as they won the series. An opponent wanted to join them and did, which is eerily the same thing that happened last summer.

The Warriors battled back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, where they ended up with Kevin Durant afterward. Iguodala was there to tell Durant about what he remembered during his time battling the Warriors while in Denver. He helped lead the Warriors to a title and is an important reason they are still contenders.

That's Green's point, once Iguodala saw the vision, things started changing and things have been different ever since.

When you really sit down and take a look at it, that (2013 playoff series) is kind of where it all started
