Joining just about everyone else in overreaction night was Draymond Green‘s mom, or shall we say DrayMom?

Mary Babers-Green took to Twitter after the Golden State Warriors‘ 129-100 loss to the San Antonio Spurs to express her displeasure with the usage rate of her son.

So let's dissect this tweet word by word.

  1. “Taking Dray out of the plays is not going to get us wins”
Green had the the ball in his hand more times than Kevin Durant during the game, acting as a de-facto point guard for Steve Kerr‘s offense. He mustered 15 shot attempts, two more than Klay Thompson.
  2. “#noenergy”
Green played perhaps with too much energy last night, as he soared for a breakaway dunk only to receive a technical foul right after for running his mouth yet again.
  3. “#itsflat”
The Warriors bench sure was flat, only mustering 16 points while having eight different players come off it.
  4. “#itsbroke”
The system right now is broken. Kerr has fallen too in love with his small lineup to the point where it is doing him a disservice. Green guarding LaMarcus Aldridge resulted in a 26-and-14 night for the big man from Texas.

Let's not forget that Green had a monster line with 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, five steals, and one block. It's one game and it's a team the Warriors would have likely played in the NBA Finals last year were they part of the Eastern Conference. Hopefully “DrayMom” doesn't pull an Ayesha Curry in the next few games and start saying the games are rigged.
