Following the tough loss they suffered in Game 2 of their first round series against he Washington Wizards, Dwight Howard was understandably not in the best of moods.

Reporters surrounded him inside their locker room, and the Atlanta Hawks center was literally lost for words to the questions thrown at him. He could only respond by saying “I don't know,” as he was uncertain of what really happened to the game, and why they lost on the night. Howard's demeanor was totally different from what fans, and even reporters, were used to seeing from him. He has made a name for himself as being jolly and even playful at times, but in the video and interview transcript, via CSN Mid Atlantic's Keely Diven, he was the complete opposite.

“With so many fouls called, what's the biggest challenge in a game like that?

“I don't know.”

“Anything you would have done differently?

“I don't know.”

“Did the MMA talk change the way the game were refereed? ”

“It's basketball.”

“Is this one of the closer playoff games you've played?”

“No.”

“What happened in the fourth when Beal went off?”

“I don't know.”

If watching his team go down in defeat wasn't enough, the former three-time Defensive Player of the Year, only saw 19 minutes of action, as he struggled with foul trouble. He finished the game with subpar numbers of six points, seven rebounds and was clearly out of sorts on the night.

The Atlanta faithful, as well as his team, are hoping this will be the last time they will see or hear Howard like this. Not only are they not used to seeing him this way, but knowing he is this frustrated only means the team lost or he is unhappy in the situation that he's in.
