One of the more surprising moves this NBA free agency was Dwyane Wade leaving the team he spent his entire career with in the Miami Heat and going back home to Chicago to likely finish up his career. Although, it should not have come as much of a shock because of the disrespectfully low contracts Miami was offering Wade, I don't think anyone thought he would actually leave.

However now that the ink has dried and the dust has settled, questions about this Chicago Bulls team, how the pieces will coexist and other questions of that sort will begin to rise. One of the top questions that comes up when star players join together is “Who's team is it?” Thankfully, this is familiar territory for Wade because he has dealt with this kind of situation a few times before.

There was the time that Shaq was traded to Miami from the Lakers, while he was still a completely dominating force and Wade was still in the early stages of his career. But when asked about it in a press conference, the Diesel stated the team belonged to Wade.

Fast forward six years, and this time it was Lebron James coming to Miami. Once again the questions swirled about who the team belonged to. Although you could make the case that the team belonged to the King, that relationship seemed to be more of a dual partnership.

Now for the first time, Wade is the player on the move and is joining a team that already has its young star. At the introductory press conference, Dwyane Wade was once again asked who's team this is. He recalled how Shaq handled this same situation and his answer reflected that. “So we're not going to go through this all year. This is Jimmy Butler's team. Myself and [Rajon] Rondo are here to bring what we bring as athletes to this team and to this city.”

It seems Wade's years of experience with these kinds of issues will make this transition very easy. And with the big names they now have in Chicago, it will be fun to see how they play together.
