After 13 years in Miami, future Hall-of-Famer Dwyane Wade decided to return his hometown Chicago Bulls this offseason. One team however that no one would have expected put forward a great pitch in recruiting the three-time champion shooting guard: the Denver Nuggets.
Wade said the #Nuggets "really sold me on the family atmosphere, really sold me on them.”

Wade then went on to say that he appreciated the Nuggets both reaching out to him first as well as the direction the franchise is headed.

Although unsuccessful in their pursuit of Wade, getting the tick of approval of a marquee free agent should be a sign of the Nuggets' franchise growth and hopefully a light to future pursuits of big name free agents.
Wade and the Bulls fell to the Nuggets on Tuesday, 110-107.
