The 2019 NFL season is set to kick off on Thursday night with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers taking on Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears. With the start of the NFL season comes the start of Fantasy Football season. There are quite a few players on rosters who will play tonight, but one obvious start is Rodgers.

Granted, there are some concerns about Rodgers going up against a stout Chicago defense, but unless you have another elite quarterback, there is no way that you would consider sitting him.

Last season, Rodgers went through a rough season after suffering a serious knee injury in Week 1. Despite the injury, he completed 62.3 percent of his pass attempts for 4,442 yards, 25 touchdowns, and two interceptions. Those numbers weren't good enough for the media.

Rodgers has gone through an onslaught from the media this offseason. From being a poor leader to being the cause of Mike McCarthy's firing, Rodgers has received nothing but criticism this offseason. He is ready to put those critics behind them and get back to playing at a legitimate MVP level.

Going up against the Bears is not an easy task for any quarterback, but Rodgers has always found ways to have success against Chicago. That will be the case once again this week.

Chicago has gone through quite a few changes this offseason. Vic Fangio, the genius defensive coordinator from last season, ended up leaving town to take the head coaching job with the Denver Broncos. The Bears also lost star safety Adrian Amos to the Packers and cornerback Bryce Callahan to the Broncos.

So with all of that being said, what should Fantasy Football players expect from the Packers' superstar quarterback?

Rodgers is going to come through with a big performance. He has always found ways to rise to the occasion when pressure is at its peak. There have been very few times throughout his NFL career that Rodgers has faced as much pressure as he is facing right now.

There is not much of a chance that Rodgers throws for 400 yards or five touchdowns, but the Matt LaFleur offense is going to look good this week.

It would be reasonable to expect around 275 passing yards, two or three touchdowns, and possibly an interception from Rodgers this week. Mack and the Bears' pass rush is going to come at Rodgers early and often. He will respond with some big plays and may even pick up some yardage on the ground.

Obviously, going up against a defense like the Bears, there is a chance for turnovers. Rodgers has taken care of the football at an elite level throughout his career and the Packers don't expect that to change. He isn't going to power you to a victory with a 40-point performance in Fantasy Football, but he is going to have a very solid all-around outing.

Expect to see Rodgers get back to an MVP level this season. This week is a bit of a risk due to playing one of the league's elite defenses, but Fantasy Football players should be excited about having Rodgers on their side.
