The Final Four is quickly approaching, with Duke and North Carolina facing off for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament, which means longtime UNC fan and country music star Eric Church isn't going to miss out.

Church, a legend in the industry, has decided to cancel his concert on Saturday night in Texas in order to watch the big game, which left many fans frustrated and upset. He also revealed that he will be in New Orleans to cheer on the Tar Heels at the Final Four, per TMZ Sports.

Here's the message he sent to his fans, via Ticketmaster:

“As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years,” Church said. “But to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream,” Church said.

Indeed, this is going to be a historic matchup. Of course, UNC crashed Coach K's party in his last home game prior to the ACC Tournament, beating Duke on their home floor. The Tar Heels are rolling ahead of the Final Four as a No. 8 seed, but the Blue Devils have looked just as good, if not better.

Needless to say, it's going to be a packed house in NOLA, and Eric Church will be in attendance.
