LaVar Ball has made a lot of headlines lately following his very controversial comments about his sons and himself, such as his absurd claim that he could have beaten Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one during his prime — something a video game simulation quickly dispelled.

Footage of him playing in a pickup game recently surfaced online, and now everyone can see if Ball can really ball or not. Hint: not.

Although he can argue that he is now 50 and has lost a lot of his athleticism, the Ballfather still did not appear anything like the dominant player he talked himself up to be.

The former Washington State player averaged a measly 2.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 1986-1987. Given his career averages and with his awkward movements in the video, it's even clearer that all of this talk is just to get more limelight on his sons, like Lonzo Ball, who officially declared for the NBA draft after UCLA‘s loss in the Sweet 16.

With the footage now getting more views, it can be expected that the older Ball will receive even more criticism and trolls on social media, if that's possible. He is hoping his sons live up to the hype as he has also risked his family being ridiculed beyond just himself if they fail do so.
