Utah Jazz point guard George Hill will sit out tonight's game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a sprained right thumb, the team announced on Twitter.
This is a momentum-killer for Hill, who was just named Western Conference Player of the Week, averaging 20.4 points and five assists per game.
The Jazz will go with Shelvin Mack as a starter in his place and will have to heavily rely on Gordon Hayward to provide the vast majority of the scoring and playmaking for the team.
