While Charlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller believes All-Star point guard Kemba Walker is a “good fit” in Charlotte, he will support whatever decision Walker makes this summer.

For the first time in his NBA career, Walker becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Hornets can offer Walker the supermax contract which would pay him $221 million over five years.

Zeller says unlike other stars in the league, Walker doesn't have an ego and tries to stay away from the spotlight.

That's good news if you're a Hornets fan, as Walker has been linked to the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

“I think he likes Charlotte, Zeller told Roderick Boone of The Athletic. “I think he’s a good fit here. But the reality of it is we haven’t been able to make deep runs in the playoffs. So hopefully that will still come in the future. But at the end of the day, Kemba has to do what’s best for him. And I’m going to support him, whatever decision he makes.”

Walker has only been to the postseason twice with the Hornets. Charlotte can obviously offer Walker the most money in free agency, but can they offer him the best chance to win?

That's what Walker needs to find out this offseason.
