Isaiah Thomas is continuing to play at a high level this season.

After converting on a coast-to-coast layup with 7.6 seconds left in the second quarter of Wednesday's game between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks, the 5-foot-9 point guard accomplished a feat only done by five other players in their team's storied history.

Thomas' feat goes to show how good he has been all year long and he now joins Celtics greats Larry Bird, John Havlicek, Kevin McHale, Sam Jones and Paul Pierce in the elite club.

Now in his sixth year in the league, Thomas has established himself as a legitimate star and has been named an All-Star two consecutive times. This year, he is averaging a career high of 29.1 points, to go along with 2.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists.

The 28-year-old Washington product has emerged as the Celtics' go-to-guy especially in late game situations, and has made it possible for them to reach their current run of success. With only eight games left on their schedule, they have a big chance of finishing the regular season as the top seed in the Eastern Conference. However, Thomas and company will not be contented with that, as they will look to make a deeper run in the playoffs and are even hoping to win it all this year.
