Although they have yet to share the court together in an actual NBA game, Joel Embiid has given high praises to his teammate, Nerlens Noel.

After seeing the 22-year-old Kentucky product make his season debut a week ago, Embiid had nothing but good words and expressed his happiness for him as he has successfully recovered from a knee injury. He also went as far as calling him his bestfriend on the team.

With his future with the Philadelphia 76ers still unclear, it does not look like the two will be able to play alongside each other as Noel appears to be the odd-man out in the Sixers' frontcourt logjam. The team's GM, Bryan Colangelo, has also spoken publicly about his desire to move Noel but is not rushing to do it.

Regardless of what happens to him in the future, he has made a strong relationship with Embiid and has gotten his respect which he can bring with him should he be dealt to another franchise.
