Like they always say, repetition is the key to enhancing your shot.

For Julius Randle, he took it by heart this summer, and as a result, the Lakers’ incoming young big is poised to add another dimension to his game.

According to ESPN’s Jon Ireland:

“Everybody I've talked to over there says he's shooting 1,000 jumpers a day, he's working at it relentlessly.”

Last season, the mid-range wasn’t part of Randle’s comfort zone. His offense was predicated on bullying his way inside.

But with new coach Luke Walton looking to implement a system that will benefit those with an outside shot, Julius Randle knows he’d be served well improving his accuracy.

1,000 shots a day is a crazy sum, but it promises to enhance the muscle memory of the Lakers’ incoming sophomore.
