Kawhi Leonard once again had a huge game on Saturday night against the Memphis Grizzlies. Not only did he finish with a very impressive stat line of 43 points, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc, to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and six steals, but he once again made history on the night.

Only two days after he became the first player in over 30 years to record at least 30 points on 15 or less field goal attempts, he is now the only player in NBA history with more than 40 points, more than five steals and more than five three-point shots made in a playoff game.

Now in his seventh season in the league, Leonard has established himself as one of the best two-way players today. He had a career year with averages of 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals during the regular season. However, he has produced even better numbers in the playoffs with 32.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals in four games so far.

If “The Klaw” continues his stellar play, the Spurs will be an even tougher team to beat. With his excellence on both ends of the floor, his teammates understand his importance, and it can be expected that he will answer the call whenever he is asked to lead his team to more wins.
