Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is in his final season and is having a league-wide jersey exchange with a select number of players from opposing squads. Surely, players who admire and respect D-Wade would love to get their hands on his classic number “3” Heat jersey.

One of them was New York Knicks guard Emmanuel Mudiay, who idolized Wade growing up. After the Heat's 100-92 victory on Saturday, the former no. 7 overall pick in 2015 tried to get his hands on Wade's last worn jersey in his final game at Madison Square Garden.

Unfortunately, he got denied by the Heat legend, saying that the jersey was already reserved for someone else.

Ouch. Surely, this would make The Meme Team.

There are no traces as to whom Wade gave the jersey to. Maybe he didn't give it away?

This is definitely a bad look for him if he didn't. But as bad as it sounds, perhaps the three-time NBA champion just didn't find anyone on the Knicks worthy enough for that special moment.

Farewell tours aside, Wade and the Heat have something more important on their plates as the regular season winds down. It's a tight race in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, and Miami is right smack in the middle of the pack. Certainly, Wade would like to include a post-season appearance in his One Last Dance tour.

They are currently hanging on for dear life at the eighth and final spot, and are just a half-game above the ninth place Orlando Magic. With just six games remaining on their schedule, every game from this point on is a must win.
