Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram played his first professional road game in Utah on Friday night.
He made a shot before finding himself limping to the sideline holding his right knee. The cause for the pain was unknown at the time, but Ingram went to the locker room to be checked out by team doctors.
Upon his return and wrapped in ice, Ingram said his knee felt funny while running.
Coach Luke Walton quickly pulled his rookie from the game after playing a total of just four minutes.
Luke Walton on Ingram: “There’s no way we’re going to get him out there playing again until we know there’s nothing wrong with his knee.”

The Lakers will need to figure things out quickly, because their next game is in Oklahoma City where Russell Westbrook is taking no prisoners.
Ingram maintains he'll be fine, and is expecting to attend practice in the morning.
Ingram says it's just a little tendinitis. "Nothing serious." Is optimistic he'll play against OKC. #Lakers
