LeBron James set the basketball world ablaze after making a surprise appearance in the Drew League right smack in the middle of the offseason. It was an unexpected sighting for the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, who himself had not taken part in the high-profile pro-am league since 2011.

Right now, though, LeBron's Drew League appearance has been mired with a bit of controversy. The four-time NBA champ is now being accused of being on the wrong end of a supposedly “dirty play.” In the video clip below, James is seen pushing an offensive player in the air as the latter went up for a layup (h/t BBALLBREAKDOWN on Twitter):

The clip also conveniently added a few highlights of LeBron executing this same “dirty” move in the NBA. The video clearly accuses James of potentially causing serious harm to his opponents by shoving them while they were in the air.

As you can see in the video, LeBron James complained to the referee after he was whistled for the foul on the play in question. The offensive player managed to get the ball in the hoop as he impressively finished the and-1 play over the future Hall of Famer. LeBron tried to argue his case, but unfortunately for him, his plea fell on deaf ears.

Do you think this was a dirty play from LeBron? Or at least a dangerous one? The good news is that the offensive player didn't get himself injured. This situation could have actually been much worse in more unfortunate circumstances.
