Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has maintained a good relationship with his former New Orleans Pelicans teammates, and he has constantly worked out with some of them even after his blockbuster trade.

He recently trained with Jrue Holiday and Jahlil Okafor, and it's clear they had a great time.

Davis was traded to the Lakers back in June after he made it clear he no longer wants to be with the Pelicans. He immediately turned LA into legitimate title contenders, as he's set to play alongside four-time MVP LeBron James.

As for New Orleans, they will begin rebuilding this upcoming season with Holiday taking the lead role. He's set to become the mentor of the Pelicans' young core, which includes former lottery picks Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, as well as the 2019 first overall pick Zion Williamson.

Despite Davis' fallout with the Pelicans, Holiday and his former teammates seem to be fine with him moving to LA. Although they will be competing against each other for the first time next season, it is unlikely that their friendship off the court will be affected by it.

The Lakers and the Pelicans will be taking different routes in 2019-20, with the former gunning for their first-ever championship since 2010 and the latter setting up their franchise for potential long-term success. Still, the matchup between both teams are expected to be a lot of fun, as they will feature a lot of major storylines that fans would definitely not want to miss.
