He may only be playing off the bench and averaging 21.8 minutes per game, but when he's on the court, Larry Nance Jr. makes sure he does something a lot of people will remember.

That was the case on Wednesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Brooklyn Nets as the 23-year-old Wyoming product soared high to the basket and posterized Brook Lopez with a nasty slam.

Nance's move was so impressive that he surprised even himself with it. It won't be surprising as well if his slam will be considered as the Dunk of the Year after the regular season ends.

However, despite his individual brilliance, the Nets had the last laugh on the night and came out with only their second win in their last six games, 107-97. The Lakers on the other hand extended their losing streak to eight games and saw their record fall to 10-18 for the season.
