The Orlando Magic stole Game 1 of their first round series against the Toronto Raptors, thanks to an amazing performance from starting point guard DJ Augustin.

Augustin finished with a team-high 25 points and hit the game-winning 3-pointer from the top of the key.

The Magic just won their first playoff game since 2012, the final year of the Dwight Howard era. The job head coach Steve Clifford has done this season can't be overlooked.

In 30 minutes, DJ Augustin shot 9-of-13 from the field, 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. He outplayed Raptors All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry, who was plain awful. Lowry finished with zero points in 34 minutes, shooting 0-of-7 from the field.

The Magic now have home-court advantage in the series. This team has been shutting down critics all season long. All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic only put up 11 points on 3-of-14 shooting, but Augustin put the club on his shoulders and willed them to a huge road victory.

Orlando should feel great about this win. However, they have to know the Raptors are going to come out swinging in Game 2. The Magic should be looking for blood the next time out so they can take a commanding 2-0 series lead.
