After representing his country in international basketball competitions since 1998, San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Manu Ginobili will be suiting up for El Alma Argentina in the Rio Olympics for the last time. He is set to retire from the National Team after this year's Summer Games.

He has always been ready to play for flag and country whenever he's called upon and has responded incredibly over the years, highlighted by their memorable win against Team USA in the 2004 Olympics in Athens which led to their gold medal finish that year.

After his team's tuneup match against France last Monday, Ginobili could not help but be emotional as he said his goodbyes to the crowd, marking his final game donning his country's colors at home.

This may be considered by many as his farewell tour internationally, but in club level, he'll still be playing for at least another season in the NBA with the Spurs. But only time can tell how long he'll still be playing as he is turning 40 years old soon.

Team Argentina kicks off their gold medal campaign on Monday, August 8 against Nigeria.
