There are not many things in life that can compare to the pride of representing your country in the summer Olympics. It is a privilege that countless athletes dream about and work tirelessly to achieve. To be an Olympian means you are among the greatest athletes in your entire country. As a result of this honor, the Olympians usually get treated very well and are exposed to the finest services and amenities.

However, this does not always seem to be the case. There were many concerns about Brazil's ability to provide competent accommodations, and so far those worries seem to be warranted. Many countries have already been experiencing issues with their stay in Rio. Australia seems to be facing the worst of it so far.

The Aussies refused to stay in the Olympic village when they first arrived because the conditions were just that terrible. In addition to that, they had to evacuate the rooms because of a small fire, and returned to their belongings being stolen. But moving past all of that, one look at Milwaukee Bucks guard Matthew Dellavedova‘s room will tell you all you need to know about the living conditions.

That room is too small for a 15 year old boy let alone a 6'4 NBA guard. Despite the digs, Delly appears to be happy enough so maybe it isn't all bad.

As more and more countries begin to arrive in Rio, don't expect this to be the last tale of terror about the Olympic village. Stay tuned.
