On Sunday morning, the country woke up to a very tragic news about Florida Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez. The two-time MLB all-star was killed in a boating accident. He was only 24-years-old.
Known for his passion and intensity when playing, the 2013 NL Rookie of the Year's boat was recovered around 3 a.m. after it slammed into a jetty off Miami Beach.
The NBA community took to social media and offered their condolences to Fernandez and family upon finding out the death of the very promising young pitcher.
