As the NBA postseason gets closer, the buyout market seems to really heat up. One of the more intriguing names that teams are keeping a close eye on though isn't even in the NBA right now.

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN one of the guys to watch is Boris Diaw

“Name to keep in mind as buyout market begins: Boris Diaw. Has NBA out with his French team Paris-Levallois. 35-year-old's camp has touched base with several playoff teams expressing interest. Great locker room presence, unselfish role player with 119 games of playoff experience.”

Diaw has appeared in 16 games for Paris-Levallois this year, averaging 31.7 minutes a game while putting up 12.3 points and 6.4 rebounds.

Even though he is putting up nice stats, it hasn't resulted in many wins for his team. Between the French league and the Eurocup they are a combined 10-19, which might even make him more opt to leave.

This is the first year playing in the French league after playing for the Jazz last year. He was a role player for them coming off the bench averaging 4.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Diaw is most well known for his time with the Spurs, including in 2014 when he appeared in every playoff game as the Spurs won the NBA title. He played five total years with the Spurs averaging 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

He has never put up eye popping stats in the NBA, but has always been a good role player, and an energy guy that would be a good addition to a playoff teams bench.
