Draymond Green has been walking on a tight rope with the league office this postseason.

After avoiding a suspension for kicking Steven Adams in the groin during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, Green has been involved in a few more physical plays with opponents, but none of them have been deemed as flagrants.

As I previously discussed, a flagrant foul of any kind during the rest of the postseason will lead to an automatic suspension for Green, according to the NBA's playoff guidelines on the matter. A flagrant-2 would earn him a two-game suspension.

Now, the league is reviewing another physical play the Michigan State alum.

During Game 7, Draymond found himself tangled up with OKC's Adams once again. Green lost his balance and flipped the Thunder center to the ground with him all in one motion. Green actually took the worst of the hit, as Adams fell straight on top of his head.

A double-foul was called on the floor, but after the game it was revealed that the NBA will take a closer look to see if a flagrant should have been assessed.

Losing Green for any time would be a huge blow for the Warriors as they begin their Finals rematch with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game in their two bouts during the regular season, creating matchup problems for the Cavs just as he did in the Finals last June.

Based on the decisions made by the league office so far during these playoffs, Green won't be charged with a flagrant retroactively. Taken out of context, the NBA would probably call a fragrant-1 here, but with a highly anticipated Finals series coming up, they don't want a judgement call determining if Green will be available for Game 1.
