To those who were thinking of crossing out Nick Young‘s name from the Los Angeles Lakers in next season's roster, think again.

Young, who still has a $5.6 million player-option for 2017-18, told reporters he’s “60/40” on whether he will exercise it — adding that the Lakers were “begging me to pretty much stay” and joked that they signed him to a $150 million lifetime “under the table” contract.

There's never a dull moment with Swaggy P, who has always been entertaining, despite not helping the team to the playoffs in his four years with the team.

Lakers president Magic Johnson will likely look to clean the Lakers books and find a suitable destination for Young, as he tries to rebuild through the draft and get Los Angeles in a position to win games next season.

If this was indeed Young's last season with the Lakers, the self-nicknamed “Uncle P” will likely have to sign for significantly less money elsewhere. He'll be 32 years old by the start of 2017-18.
