Amazingly still playing at a high level despite doing so with a heavy heart because of the tragic and sudden death of his younger sister, Isaiah Thomas left Game 2 of Boston‘s first-round series with the Bulls to spend time with his family in Tacoma, Washington. Thomas will rejoin his teammates for Game 3 on Friday and heading into that pivotal game, the Celtics All-Star got a few words of encouragement from a Boston legend — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Posting a picture of Thomas on Instragram, Brady told the Celtics All-Star, “It's how you come back… Good luck tonight. We all have your back! #YourTurn

Brady has always been supportive of the other Boston professional sports teams, so him reaching out to Thomas isn't out of the blue. Also Brady was part of the Celtics' contingent along with Thomas that went to the Hamptons to try and recruit Kevin Durant to the Celtics last summer. And while Thomas and Brady likely aren't the closest of friends, the Patriots quarterback's words of encouragement shows how all of New England is behind the Celtics and their All-Star guard.
