The first round series between the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks has been a hotly contested one, with their players being very physical in its three games so far. However, the action has not been limited to the court, as some of them are having a back-and-forth, with shots through the media.

After Markieff Morris called him a “crybaby” during a post game interview following their Game 3 loss, Paul Millsap fired back at him right away by giving him advice on how to deal with it.

Millsap called out the Wizards for apparently playing like MMA fighters in their first game of the series, as they were very physical. Morris and company took exception to his statement and responded by playing even more aggressively two nights after, en route to a 2-0 lead.

It was the four-time All-Star‘s turn to prove his worth on Saturday, finishing with 29 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks. More importantly, the Hawks are back in the series and could even the series in their next game.

With the strong comments the two have made, Game 4 on Monday will not be any different from the first three. Morris and Millsap will continue to be matched up by their coaches, and their composure will be tested as well. However, being the veterans that they are, they know too well that their emotions should not get the best of them, as they are very valuable to their teams.
