Los Angeles Rams star and Super Bowl champion Cooper Kupp just wrapped up the best single-season from wide receiver in NFL history. Kupp followed up a historic triple-crown winning season with a Super Bowl victory and a Super Bowl MVP trophy to go with it. In the aftermath of the team's playoff run, fans have begun to declare Kupp's performance in the postseason as the greatest showing by a wide receiver in NFL playoff history, surpassing the 2008 run from Larry Fitzgerald with the Arizona Cardinals. Fitzgerald has since addressed Kupp's dominant run to the Super Bowl, and had one blunt admission about a key difference between the two, via Kent Somers.

Fitzgerald didn't hold back his own disappointment while congratulating Kupp on his monumental season with the Rams. “I got memories, he's got hardware, ” Fitzgerald said, referencing the Cardinals falling short against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII. While Fitzgerald racked up incredible individual performances, the Cardinals failed to take home the Lombardi Trophy, something which is clearly still impacting the 38-year-old to this day.

For all that Fitzgerald accomplished throughout his esteemed NFL career, the future Hall of Famer was never able to win a ring. It's safe to assume, based on his comments, that he'd give back most of that postseason run if it meant he could have won a Super Bowl with the Cardinals.

In 2021, Kupp caught 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdown receptions. He added 33 receptions on 42 targets, 478 yards, and 6 touchdowns across LA's four playoff games, in what was one of the greatest playoff performances in NFL history.
