Steven Jackson was one of the most dangerous running backs in the NFL at one stage in his career. Not only was he a superstar for the Los Angeles Rams, he is currently the all-time leading rusher for the franchise. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end at some point in time.

To end his career, Jackson was given the opportunity to take one more handoff with the franchise that he become a star with. It was an emotional, but awesome moment for Jackson and the Rams.

For those who have not seen Jackson's final moment on an NFL field, take a look for yourself:

Jackson ended his career with 2,764 carries for 11,438 yards and 69 touchdowns. He also caught 461 passes for 3,683 yards and nine touchdowns. Those numbers show just how dominant of a career Jackson was able to have.

He spent his first nine seasons with the St. Louis Rams, but never got to play a down in Los Angeles. Following those nine years, Jackson ended up playing two season with the Atlanta Falcons and his last year with the New England Patriots in 2015. Since then, he has not played an NFL snap.

While he is retiring from the game, Jackson is a name to keep an eye on for other roles in the NFL. He could be a coach if he wants and there are likely networks that would love to have him on their sets.

No matter what the future holds for Jackson, he had an amazing career and this was the perfect way to finish everything off.
