Rapper Soulja Boy posted a random tweet that slammed WWE as “fake,” which eventually caught the attention of longtime wrestler Randy Orton. The Tennessee native didn't appreciate the tirade as he fired back and had a couple of exchanges with the artist on Twitter.

This is certainly a beef that came out of nowhere:

In Soulja Boy's defense, WWE definitely gained a reputation of being scripted, especially in the modern era bannered by the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena, and CM Punk, among others. However, it also can't be denied that the wrestlers also absorb real cuts and bruises to their bodies whenever they do their moves inside and out of the ring.

Despite the exchange, Orton still gave credit to Soulja Boy for having a hit with his single “Crank That” back in 2007 and even admitted his affinity for rap music. However, he also dared the rapper to own up to his words and face him in wrestling in a bid to prove that living the life of a professional wrestler is no easy task:

Needless to say, Orton has the right to say his claims as he already went through a ton of experiences as a wrestler for WWE over the past two decades. Despite being a third-generational wrestling talent, Orton still managed to make a name for himself as he eventually became one of the biggest names in the industry.

It would be hilarious to see if the random Twitter spat would escalate to a real feud in WWE. Perhaps a Randy Orton versus Soulja Boy pay-per-view showdown would help bring an increased fandom to the company even for a short amount of time.
