The Detroit Pistons have finally gotten back on the proverbial horse after a competitive outing against the Golden State Warriors and a 16-point victory over the LeBron James-less Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, snapping a five-game losing streak.

After a team meeting and a middle-of-the-week impromptu lineup change, inserting Jon Leuer and sending Tobias Harris to the bench, which has worked for the last two games.

But the pep talks and frequent pointers have began to wear down on point guard Reggie Jackson.

“He was just honest as usual. I dunno, a lot of yelling,” Jackson told reporters following Monday's victory over the Cavaliers. “Sometimes you find a way to tune the little words out, but you know what the gist of the message is.

“You gotta find a way to get fired up and hope he doesn't have a heart attack on the sideline.”

Luckily for Jackson and his teammates, they're still on the hunt for the Eastern Conference playoff berth, sitting only one game behind of the eighth spot.
