The San Diego Chargers continue to be snakebit with injuries, losing a key starter in each of the first three weeks of the season.

After star wide receiver Keenan Allen and all-purpose running back Danny Woodhead went down with torn ACLs, linebacker Manti Te'o hobbled off the field yesterday in Indianapolis.

The Chargers' fear of a torn Achilles was confirmed this morning after an MRI, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

As NFL fans know all too well, when a player goes down with a non-contact injury, it using means serious trouble. Te'o attempted to change directions quickly before crumpling to the ground on his own, and now his season is over.

The Chargers have dealt with injuries in the past, and it has often derailed their seasons. If more guys continue to go down for the entire year like this, it's going to be tough for Philip Rivers to put the entire team on his back and carry them to a postseason berth.
