Omri Casspi's relationship with the Sacramento Kings has been going downhill for awhile.

Casspi hasn't spoken with head coach Dave Joerger in over two months and he's essentially been out of the rotation, appearing in just eight games so far this season.

Casspi's future with the team seems bleak and now it appears the Kings are completely on board with finding him a new home.

Via ESPN's Marc Stein:

“You undoubtedly want to know if Sacramento is going to trade DeMarcus Cousins or Rudy Gay between now and the Feb. 23 deadline. The answer remains: Too soon to say. The closest thing to a trade lock in the California capital is the exit of the popular Casspi, whose representatives have been blessed by the Kings to search out potential deals now that the versatile swingman — coming off the best year of his career — has been exiled from the rotation by new coach Dave Joerger.”

It's not often a team grants a player's representatives to seek out a potential deal so this report is saying something when it comes to the relationship between Casspi and the Kings.

Casspi might be able to help another team out, definitely more than he is helping out the Kings right now, so look for him to be moved before the deadline and potentially very soon.
