Donatas Motiejunas may have finally found a home.
There has been a ton of drama around the former Houston Rockets big man this year. He could not agree on a contract with the Rockets, then signed an offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets, which was matched by the Rockets. Motiejunas did not rejoin the Rockets after this and eventually was released, becoming an unrestricted free agent.
Now the New Orleans Pelicans have emerged as the team most likely to sign him.

The drama between Motiejunas and the Rockets was somewhat odd in that nothing could be worked out. Motiejunas is certainly a young player with a lot to offer many teams around the league and the Pelicans may be a much better fit for him in the long run.
There were rumors also earlier this week that the Lakers were interested in signing Motiejunas but now it looks like it's going to be the Pelicans.
