Russell Westbrook isn't a fan of many things prompted by the media, but he surprisingly perked up when asked if he heard the new Kendrick Lamar track “The Heart Part 4,” which includes a verse talking of his feud with Kevin Durant.
“Yeah,” Westbrook smilingly told reporters while nodding. “K9, that's my man. Yes sir, that's my guy. I was surprised (to hear my name), I'm happy. Whenever you hear your name in a song you feel like you made it. I feel like I made it.”

The Westbrook-Durant feud has picked up plenty of steam, and rappers all around the country have picked up on it, with Lamar being one of the first to bring it out so bluntly in his lyrics.

The Compton native has never been afraid to drop names from people in the sports business, and Westbrook is just the latest to get shine through his punchy, quick-witted rhymes.
