Scot Pollard finds out he wasn't invited to Celtics reunion

Unlike the rest of the 2007-08 Boston Celtics who received a personal invitation from point guard Rajon Rondo, longtime journeyman center Scot Pollard found out by reading the story on The Undefeated instead. The 42-year-old former player quickly took to Twitter to express his astonishment by being shunned by his former teammate.

“I haven't heard about this,” wrote Pollard after reading claims by Rondo that aside from Ray Allen, he had talked to everyone from the championship team for the exception of P.J. Brown, which he would try to get a hold of later. “I wasn't on that team? Rondo must have forgotten the time(s) I talked him down after Doc rode him hard. Ubuntu?”

Let's face it — Pollard has a ring the same way Juwan Howard has an NBA championship — by riding a contending team's coattails at the end of his career. The 6-foot-11 Kansas alum averaged a mere 1.8 points in his lone and final season with the Celtics, playing only 7.9 minutes per game in 22 appearances.

But the colorful and often-sarcastic Pollard retired a champion and he won't let you forget it.
