With his recent signing with the Milwaukee Bucks, veteran shooting guard Jason Terry will be reunited with a former teammate, but this time as his coach, in Jason Kidd. If there's someone who's happy about this move and knows it will be a good partnership, it's Shawn Marion.

The three were teammates from 2009-2012 and won a championship together in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks. Marion recently spoke to the Star-Telegram's Dwain Price, expressing his delight with knowing the two will be working again with each other:

“That's awesome, I love it, They need a great veteran up there.”

Terry will be turning 39 next month and is expected to play a minor role off the bench. He brings the Bucks leadership, which is important given they have a very young team with 10 players under 25-years-old. He is expected to be the mentor and locker room leader the team badly needs.

Marion echoes this and shared what he knows The Jet can bring to the table:

“I just talked to him the other night. I'm happy he's going to join J-Kidd and help him out, he’s a great veteran that can help do some things that can help control the young guys, and he’s going to give them some veteran leadership.”

After only winning 33 games last season, Milwaukee is looking to make the playoffs once again. They will be led by the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.

With the addition of a proven veteran and former NBA champion to their fold, the chances of making a run in the postseason seem even more possible now.
