Friday night Draymond Green had his quite the on-court pep talk with Kevin Durant after Durant called for an isolation that resulted in a missed shot in the midst of a late fourth quarter collapse.

The Warriors ultimately lost the game to the Memphis Grizzlies after leading by 24 points, though Durant stated he had no objection to Green's advice after his poor decision.

Green is the team's most vocal player so it's no surprise to see that he was the one to speak up.

Interestingly enough, this altercation caught the attention of the band Smash Mouth, who took exception to Green's approach and posted a series of tweets bashing him for getting in Durant's face.

In now-deleted posts, the band tweeted:

“@Money23Green Check yourself dude! That was embarrassing! Someone needs to know your ass out on the court!

“@Money23Green Dude if you want to run a team go sign with the @Lakers First @SteveKerr now you’re yelling at @KDTRey5 ? Might be time to go!

“@Money23GreenWe already have coaches dude! Shut the F up! Not your job to to yell at other players specially ones BETTER than you! @warriors”

In all fairness, Smash Mouth did give credit to Green later on:

That statement couldn't be more true.
