The San Antonio Spurs honored their longtime staple at the power forward spot, Tim Duncan, with one of his very own virtues — simplicity.

Former teammates Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and new addition Pau Gasol wore black-and-white socks with the No. 21 printed on them — subtle, just the way Tim would've done it.

To people like Duncan, it isn't the flash or glamour of the sport that kept him in the game for 19 seasons, but the simple everyday things that made his career worth every minute.

The Spurs organization nailed this dedication as well as a team should after having a player for a near-two decades.

Thank you, TD.
