On Thursday, The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) had their second annual Players Voice Awards.

But unlike last year, it was social-media exclusive this time around and they decided to use Twitter as their platform.

The Golden State WarriorsStephen Curry came out as the big winner of the night garnering three awards including The Clutch Performer, MVP, and Toughest to Guard.

The back-to-back MVP had one of his best seasons last year and led his team to consecutive finals appearances, winning in 2015 and finishing as runners-up to the Cleveland Cavaliers back in June. He was the first ever unanimous choice for regular season MVP, averaging 30.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 2.1 steals, while shooting 45% from three-point range in 34 minutes per game.

Although he and his team got a lot of scrutiny for losing this year's championship and failing to close out the series despite having a 3-1 lead, it is very evident that his co-players still see his and the Warriors' dominance over the last two seasons as the NBPA award winners are solely based on player votes.
