Every postseason, LeBron James goes off social media so he can be be focused on winning another championship. This has become an annual tradition for James and now it seems like Stephen Curry is following in the Cavs superstar's footsteps.

In an interview with ESPN's Chris Haynes, Curry says he is quitting social media for the playoffs this year. Curry does clarify though, that he isn't doing it because of James. He just wants to be ultra focused and since social media is very distracting, Curry has decided to stop using it.

From Haynes:

“When you’re really trying to zone in and keep your focus, you don’t want to have any unnecessary distractions during this point of the season,” Curry told ESPN. “We have goals to accomplish, and you want to make sure you’re giving your all.”

The Warriors point guard says he didn’t get the idea from James.

“I didn’t do it because he did it. I’m not reinventing the wheel,” Curry said. “It’s just a way to help me keep my focus on what’s important.”

What's important for Curry and the Warriors is winning another championship. And since the Warriors fell short of their goal last year, it makes sense that Curry is going to do everything in his power like going off social media, to win a championship this season.
